Mt Gipps Station can be accessed by 2WD vehicles most times. When we have wet weather, access in or out can be restricted to all vehicle types. Whilst this is rare it can occasionally happen. We always update guests of any forecast rain and possible effect on your stay.

Guests are given a ‘mud map’ of areas to explore during your stay. These areas include a fantastic bush walk as well as a trip to our lookout for an uninterrupted sunset view.

We are a vast property spanning 136,000 acres. whilst exploring you will have an opportunity to see, kangaroo’s, emu’s, native birds and lizards.

We have access to Telstra service only. This is quite common in regional NSW. The 3G/4G is usually reliable but cannot be guaranteed for your stay.

Unfortunately there is no guest wifi available.

Absolutely, just keep them on a lead for the safety of your pet, our livestock and other guests.

The campground has toilets and showers, a camp kitchen and dining area, and outdoor fire pits.

We ask that you fill your water tanks and empty your waste before you come (Broken Hill Visitor Centre has a spot to do this.)

We also don’t have a permanent water connection, but can sometimes work something out if you are heading further into the Outback.

We have the option of both Powered and Non Powered sites, private ‘Bush camping’ sites are also available on request.

We have designated fire pits in the camp ground. If you have your own fire pit we ask that you clean up in full on check out.

We are usually very busy so don’t allow guests to participate in farming activities, however we welcome spectators if we are working in the yards.

All bushwalks are marked in the ‘mud map’ that all guests receive.

We offer a fantastic drive to the lookout.
